Consc vs. ‘mind and mental factors’ in Buddhism: nonmaterial luminous and knowing in nature. Discontinuous stream, succession of individual states. Every event at a given time is composed of a ‘mind’ and ‘mental factors’. Consc events can be either sensory or mental.
